In a challenging Telecommunication business environment underpinned by talent scarcity, Manager Talent Acquisition & OD is responsible to support Human Capital efficiency in a specific Business unit in order to contribute to achieve strategic business goals.
He/She is responsible to drive the execution of the People Strategies within the business unit:
– Pro-actively challenge the established organizational structure to drive superior performance.
– Identify and source appropriate talent for current and future open roles within the organization and manage Employer Brand activities founded on the MTN Employment Value Proposition.
– Oversee implementation of MTN recruitment strategy
– Build a positive candidate experience, manage candidate communities, and maintain relationships for those candidates not selected.
– Oversee onboarding activities for newcomers and ensure a successful entry for new hires
– Oversee implementation of an effective college recruiting and university relations strategy (regarding Intern and Trainee programs )
– Build strong relations with key process stakeholders and manage vendors to ensure quality of delivery and best possible ROI
– Coach and mentor direct reports to ensure staff motivation is high
– Ensure best practice, operational efficiency and effectiveness of the OD &Talent acquisition processes, their compliance with internal policy and external legislation
Pré-requis pour ce poste
– Bac+4/5 psychology, HR, business administration or other related field
– At least 5 years as HR practitioner ( Organisation Design, Sourcing/Recruiting Specialist) in a significant organization
– Experience in a TELECOM industry will be beneficial
– Experience in a consulting role will also be beneficial
– At least 3 years’ experience as people manager with full responsibility for staffing, career development and performance evaluation..
