Yara is looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to join our Team and develop communications, marketing and branding activities in cote d’Ivoire. The role will especially focus on elevating Yara’s profile in cote d’Ivoire to all relevant stakeholders through coordinated communication plans in our strategic markets.
The position will be based in Abidjan and will report to the Commercial Manager .
Responsibilities
– Work with team in Cote d’Ivoire and matrix management of marketing and communication resources in the units
– Develop and implement communication and marketing strategy for cote d’Ivoire
– Stakeholder relationship management in coordination with local teams
– Manage all media coverage of Yara cote d’Ivoire
– Implement professional communication plans/campaigns in cote d’Ivoire
– write communication (news articles, official letters, communication towards government and other stakeholders)
– Drive internal communications to increase attractiveness of Africa in Yara
– Manage all brand exposure for long term value creation
– Manage implementation of Yara’s digital presence in cote d’Ivoire , including websites, apps and social media
– Coordinate both internal and external events and manage Yara’s presence and exposure
Pré-requis pour ce poste
– Minimum 5 years working experience in media and communication management, preferably in an international company
– Experience with creating communication and marketing strategies, plans and material
– Marketing and branding expertise
– Excellent knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms
– Good relationship building skills
– Good storyteller
– Ability to work independently and within team
– Excellent communication and listening skills; good interpersonal relationship skills
– Fluency in English.
– Ability to travel in up country
